The class of a graduate course I am in has been asked to create a, "Literacy Autobiography."
A fellow student, Veronica, decided she was going to Blog hers. "What a novel idea," I thought, and asked permission to use her idea as well. So here it goes...
Where do I start, at the beginning? Of being little and watching my two older sisters read?
Do I start where my parents and sisters, "spelled," topics around me?
Or do I start where I believe my enjoyment of reading began?

- I am creating a Literacy Autobiography for a course I am taking. My goal is to let people know the things that have affected me as a reader, namely books and writings, what affect they had on me and an explananation of why. Thus learning more about why I like to read and using this knowledge to better help my students with their lack of interest in reading. What can you do? Well, you can respond to my posts! You can let me know of books you are currently reading. Subscribe to the blog. Post a on the blog, how can I make it better? What in my wiriting doesn't make sense? And the ultimate thing you could do for me... create a literacy autobigraphy of your own!
